Hi,

I just want a bit of advice really. I have been doing cd since march on 810 and have lost 28lb and have another 3 stone to go. However i have just had a break of 3 weeks because previously my weight loss had slowed/stopped for some reason and I became really discouraged. Needless to say I have had a huge relapse but am seeing my cdc next week. I am toying with the idea of trying 1000 as maybe more food may make me happier? What kind of weight loss can I expect on 1000 as opposed to 810?

any advice welcome

Thanks

Rachy. xx

Well I tend to work things out on calories. the difference of 200 calories a day equates to 1400 calories a week. 1lb of fat is comprised of approx 3500 calories so 1400 cals is less than 1/2 lb a week.

Of course this may be too simplistic a view to take but it's how I evalute the plans for straight weightloss rather than stabilisation.

I think the losses vary so much from person to person, and also whether you are on this step as part of the stabilization process, or whether this is your plan for the long haul. Many of us that are currently going up the steps (having done SS, SS+ then 810) have found a stall in our weight losses on 1000 cals due to replenishment of glycogen stores and our bodies readjusting to the volume of food being consumed.

1000 cals is still classed as a Low Calorie diet so you will defo have some good losses, I'm sure of it - especially since you've been on a bit of a 'break' recently.

Good luck with it xx
