I've had this, i found the best way to avoid it was to stop weighing myself daily and just focus on the weekly losses :) My week 4 was only 4lbs off, which was a little disappointing after the other weeks, but i'm going to up the exercise as I slacked a bit last week and hopefully next week will be a good one :)

thanks king jimmy....a smile helps ;)
actually i need the weather to sort itself out...its so muggy and humid and the pressure in the air has given me an almighty migrain and i'm stuck at work till 4 boo....plus still hungry and been avoiding painkillers as i think they dont help but my headache so bad i had to...so not expecting an easy day at all and tomorrow will be the biggest test yet..there's gonna be a lot of yummy food everywhere!!!
On the major upside though i had brought a couple of items online at the next sale but brought them in a size 14 as i thought no point in buying current size but will give me something to aim for...well the dress bloody fit perfectly...okay its no fitted tight dress a comfy jersey kind of dress but i dont care it fits!!!! which gives me hope for the maxi dress i bought off ebay in a size 14....my trousers dont reflect this yet but i i dont mind that dresses and tops are getting smaller...this means another clothes clear out i reckon...this has perked me up enough to just about not mind that i feel crap again...although there could be a slight upside to that as i am getting pre period pains which would be a good sign that my cycles are returning..havent had 2 periods in a normal time scale for about 2 years so would be good just hoping if it is a period it dont upset my stomach like last time..that was not nice....but i'm secretly hoping i may be pregnant instead as this is one of the main reasons for my weighloss... with my pcos i need to loose weight to help regulate my periods so although cracking a ongoing 3 year battle to get pregnant in the first month would be great i'm not getting over excited and a period means its all going in a good direction...
my my i've chatted a bit lol..at work bored and rambling hope everyone is doing well...havent heard from anyone in a while about their weighs ins?? sure your all doing great x x

Hi Everyone!!!
Sorry for my lack of posts last week - combination of being away of holiday for most of the week and feeling too naughty because I've been cheating!!! Well, didn't feel too naughty really as I gave myself permission and promised myself I wouldn't feel bad about it. I had lots of social occasions - friends coming over for another bbq, family meal out, friends staying over for long weekend and mini-holiday break at a spa hotel (lovely and much needed!!!). Anyway, I realised it just wasn't going to be practical for me to do CD for every meal during all of those events, so went for a 'damage limitation' approach by trying to stear clear of carbs and going for protein and salad. Although I must confess I ate chips and champagne (together too!). ![]() My CDC is back from her holidays now and despite all my cheating I'm very pleased to report a loss of 7lbs on my weigh in today for weeks 3 to 5, which means I'm down to 12 stone exactly and have lost a total of 18lbs to date (and 18 inches all over in total - funny, my CDC says the lbs and inches lost tend to be the same). I was really suprised that it only took me a day of eating oly CD meals to get back into ketosis - I had my last cheating meal of bbq leftovers on Sunday night, got back on the CD plan on Monday, experienced the familiar fuzzy throat and bit of a headache and by this morning the Ketostix says I've got 'traces' of ketones, so am back fat burning mode. Got the mother-in-law coming to stay for a long weekend this weekend and they'll be a couple of meals out, but I really will try to make good choices and eat CD where I can. I'm really pleased that I've got down to the 12 stone milestone now and am looking forward to getting through the 12s to 11 which is the first goal on my ticker. When I'm there I'll change it to a, yet to be decided, goal between my healthy range of 8st 8lbs to 10st 10lbs. The latter is only 18lbs away now so I guess I'm half way there! Fingers crossed for a positive on the pregnancy test, Helen! I've heard that this diet makes you very fertile, so you may well be! Off to have a very late tea now - half a Chicken & Mushroon soup followed by half a bar (ooo, which flavour to choose - got one of each today. Yum!). TTFN x |

Hi all - exercise-wise I'm doing a vigorous walk with the dog for at least an hour each day and aim to jog for minimum of 30 mins twice a week (about 2-3 miles). Plus I've been much more active around the home and garden for the last 6 months, since setting up my rabbit boarding business and getting away from working 9am-5pm (and all evening!) on the computer. I think exercising has really helped me burn off carbs and get back into ketosis more quickly when I've blipped. 'Traces' and the next one up 'Small' is good on the ketostix, the CD puts us into small levels of ketosis rather than anything higher on the scale, so as long as it's either traces or small then our bodies are burning fat. Hurrah! Feeling so much better now having got back into soups/shakes/bars this week. Tummy feels nice and settled and 'slim' again x

i didnt have the will to write this all yesterday as i was soooo tired but had a brilliant but miserable day yesterday. Went to the new forest show which was awesome but i tend to suffer with anxiety attacks when i travel which go right ahead and upset my bowels and i'm in agony..it triggers off my ibs..so a painfull start to the day left me cautious of drinking shakes and eating as once i got there i did not want to be faced with toilet trouble lol....so i chewed slowly over a bar which in total took me 4 hours to eat and survived on a litre of water...now although i never felt hungry i never ever want to go to that festival again not eating because i've never been so miserable...so much food and drink everywhere...all free tasters...meat/ cake/ sweets/ pastries/ fresh bread/ ciabatta's my god..it killed me...there was a bloody chocolate fountain stall with white chocolate and marshmellows and strarberries....fruit stalls with strawberries and cream...fresh pressed apple juice from a steam device..all day i kept wishing i could have a day off but by some small miracle i never gave in and survived....i never was hungry which helped alot otherwise i would have given in...although my partners chips smelled amazing but while i'm not eating i'm not doing anything like that again..torture but on the upside i did so much walking yesterday i burnt off some extra calories...need a big reward for getting through that me thinks...
that has come out a lot more positive for waiting a day had i written that last night it would have depressed the crap out of u more than it probably has anyway...anyway today is cruising by and i'm itching to get weighed in...roll on wednesday!!! hope your all doing well good to hear from u anna thought we lost u lol ....x x
